Start: Four Rivers Environmental Learning Center Canoe and Kayak Ramp Chahannon, IL (note: this route starts on the Du Page river just before it reaches the Des Plaines River. After 3.7 miles on the Des Plaines it merges with the Kankakee River to form the Illinois.

Finish: Grafton Public Boat Ramp, Grafton, Illinois.

About Michael: Former ultra cyclist, that hopped into the MR 340 (famous paddle race on the Missouri River) and got hooked, now a full-blown river rat
