Route Description: Little Platte River, lower section, from Smithville lake dam to the confluence with the Platte River then continuing to Sharps Station on the Platte River

Paddlers’ bio: Tyler and I (Jacob) have been adventure partners since 2020. We love long distance bicycling and canoe/kayaking. We have floated the Missouri from St. Joseph to St. Louis. Last year we did the entire Kansas river.

Trip report: We had a total of 13 log jams in roughly 16 miles. They water was a little high so that helped with speed but made those log jams a little more intense

Boats used: Two Solo Pelican kayaks
