Route Description from Scott Allen: The entirety of Spring Creek from the springs at the DNR parking lot on Lee Road to the Highway V bridge in Okee. The route starts easy, then becomes challenging due to tree blowdowns in the upper marsh. Most of the marsh is an easy paddle with numerous meanders. Tree blowdowns and log jams increase again at the marsh outlet requiring a drag over the top or a short portage around. Through the City of Lodi the paddling is easy, though the creek is shallow in spots so kayaks will get scraped and canoes would not be passable. Downstream of town, creek maintenance has kept open passage through most of the tree blowdowns. The final stretch through Okee Bay is easy unless there are high winds or unruly boaters.
